I'll stamp all over 'credible combatant' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.

Briton Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to publicize the upcoming bout.

Ex two-time world boxing king Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth disparity - at Miami arena on December 19th.

Fighter's Attitude

"I plan to damage his features and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, stated.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I will genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my intention."

Civil Interaction

Despite such comments, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul instead attacked ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.

Targeting Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK rival Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.

"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Opponent

In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.

Paul's History

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.

He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, frequently receiving substantial paydays.

Prediction and Belief

The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and asserted he would stop the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.

"It will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.

Physical Disparity

As Joshua and Paul participated in the traditional confrontation, with their height and weight contrast evident, it emphasized just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is really going ahead.
